Why CPA?

Accounting is considered to be the language of business. Having a qualification in accounting will open doors to hundreds of career opportunities including:

  • finance and accounting
  • information technology
  • marketing
  • human resource management
  • e-commerce
  • international business
  • economics
  • running your own business
  • management
  • strategy and business development

In the majority of degrees you will have the option to include accounting studies.

Accounting studies give you the tools to understand how and why key decisions are made, and to have input into those decisions.

If you want to be a finance and accounting specialist, you will play a key role in managing money. If you want to specialise in another business discipline, a knowledge of accounting will be a great help to you.

Graduates with accounting qualifications will find there is a greater range of employers than for any other business discipline. Accounting qualifications are easily transferable from one employer to another.
