About CPA Program
CPA Program is a world class professional education program, which Associate members complete in order to reach CPA status.
The program is currently offered in the format of three compulsory and three elective units. Each unit is to equivalent one semester or unit of postgraduate study.
CPA Program can be carried-out completely in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore or Hong Kong, and in other countries by distance learning. CPA Program candidates can study via distance learning through CPA Australia's online learning channel, My Online Learning. With My Online Learning, you can access CPA Program and professional development courses quickly and easily — anywhere, anytime.
CPA Program examinations are held twice a year at more than 240 locations around the world. All exams are three hour, open book exams to reflect actual work practices.
Completing CPA Program also has benefits for continuing your education. CPA Program graduates are eligible for credits in many postgraduate courses offered by higher education providers across the globe.
Associate members must also complete the three-year Mentor Program. The Mentor Program enables the development of practical workplace skills under the guidance of an experienced professional. To reach CPA status you must successfully complete both the CPA Program and the Mentor Program.
