Plan your own enterprise competition 2009

Secondary school students can gain an in-depth appreciation of the business world and its operations through the CPA Australia 'Plan your own enterprise' (PYOE) competition.

The competition requires students to submit a business plan of up to 3000 words with their creative idea for a small business.

Prizes will be awarded in three categories:

  • division one, individual student entries: a trip to Shanghai for five nights including $1000 spending money
  • division two, individual students aged up to 16 years as at 1 January 2009: $1000 cheque
  • division three, group entries (maximum of six students): $1000 cheque

Entries close Friday 28 August 2009

  • All entries must be submitted to your state / territory coordinator. First stage judging
    will be held during September 2009.
  • The Australasian judging and presentation ceremony will be held on Monday 19 October 2009 in Brisbane.
